About Sierra™ Synchro Salmon Flame Cyclamen

Sierra™ Synchro Salmon Flame is the salmon-and-coral bicolor Cyclamen persicum selection identified by Syngenta as code 70049601 ([Syngenta](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/apac/product/flower/70049601)). Its exact regional product page lists a mounding habit, early spring and winter flowering, and 20–25 cm garden dimensions; the breeder’s Americas Sierra sheet also lists the Synchro Salmon Flame name and code ([Syngenta Sierra sheet](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/sites/g/files/kgtney2381/files/media/document/2024/11/05/sellsheet_seed_sierra_cyclamen.pdf)). Kew accepts Cyclamen persicum in Primulaceae ([Kew](https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:700765-1/general-information)). ## Flowers and Display The salmon and coral coloring gives this standard florist cyclamen a warm accent in a pot. Place it where the flowers can be viewed closely and where its mounded foliage has space to spread. The product page lists sun and shade exposure; bright indirect light is a practical indoor starting point. ## Water and Seasonal Care Use a rich, well-drained potting mix. Water when the mix feels dry and direct water around the edge of the pot, keeping the tuber crown dry. North Carolina Extension advises reducing watering during summer dormancy and resuming as new growth appears ([NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/cyclamen-persicum/)). Keep the plant cool and protect it from frost. ## Maintenance Remove spent flowers and yellow leaves cleanly. Let foliage decline naturally as the tuber enters its summer rest, then restart regular watering when growth returns.
