Karma Moon Lady Yellow Dahlia

Karma Moon Lady Yellow is an upright, vigorous Dahlia x hybrida selected for yellow cut flowers. Syngenta identifies the exact selection as code 70089172 and lists a mature height of 36–48 inches, width of 18–24 inches, and flowering from late spring through fall. ## Garden use Use it in a sunny cutting garden or a spacious border, where the tall stems and yellow blooms can brighten the middle or back of a planting. Syngenta lists the product as pollinator friendly and suitable for production as vegetative unrooted cuttings. ## Growing conditions Provide full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. The source lists USDA hardiness zones 9a–11a. Water during hot, dry weather, especially while plants are actively growing and flowering, and avoid persistently waterlogged soil. ## Maintenance Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms. Where winter freezes occur, cut back after frost and lift the tubers for dry, frost-free storage; replant when conditions warm in spring.
