Maejima Variegated Winter Daphne

Daphne odora 'Maejima' is a compact, rounded evergreen shrub celebrated for its striking variegated foliage and intoxicating winter fragrance. Its glossy, dark green leaves are edged with exceptionally broad, creamy-yellow margins, providing year-round visual interest. In late winter, clusters of reddish-purple buds open into pale pink, citrus-scented flowers. Ideal for woodland gardens or near entryways, it thrives in moist, well-drained soil and partial shade, reaching about three to four feet.
