Decadence® Blueberry Sundae™ False Indigo

This compact, upright perennial forms a dense mound of blue-green foliage, reaching about 3 feet in height and width. In late spring to early summer, it produces striking 24-inch spires of deep indigo-blue, pea-like flowers that attract pollinators. It is exceptionally long-lived, drought-tolerant, and deer-resistant, thriving in full sun to part shade and well-drained, even poor, soils. Its ornamental black seed pods provide interest into the fall, making it ideal for borders or meadows.
