Baptisia 'Vanilla Cream' is a compact, well-branched perennial forming a dense, rounded clump. Its unique foliage emerges with a striking bronze cast in spring before maturing to a soft grey-green. In late spring, ten-inch spikes of pastel yellow buds open into creamy vanilla flowers, followed by ornamental seedpods.
