Delmara™ Orange is a low, mounding Delosperma cooperi selection with orange flowers and a yellow eye. The exact Monrovia selection profile gives a long flowering season from late spring into fall, and the Green Fuse catalog lists Orange within its Delmara™ series.
## Size and flowering
Monrovia lists this selection at 3 inches tall and 12–18 inches wide; Green Fuse gives an 18–24 inch garden spread for the series. The series has a strongly branched, mounding habit and continuous flowering during the growing season.
## Growing conditions
Plant in full sun in a sunny rock garden, container, or low groundcover planting. Monrovia lists USDA zones 4–9 and advises watering only when very dry after establishment. Green Fuse describes the Delmara™ series as hardy to zone 4 and well suited to sunny landscape planting in arid climates.
## Maintenance
Allow room for the mound to spread and avoid overwatering after establishment.
