Delmara™ Pink ice plant (*Delosperma cooperi*) is a low, succulent groundcover with neon-pink flowers from spring into late summer. Its compact height and wider spread suit a sunny border, rock garden, or container.
## Site and size
Give this selection full sun and a freely draining site. Hoffie Nursery lists a mature height of four to six inches and a spread of fourteen to sixteen inches, and describes the foliage as succulent and the plant as drought tolerant. Green Fuse recommends full sun for Delmara landscape planting in arid climates and describes continuous bloom during the growing season. ## Seasonal display
The pink flowers bring a bright, daisy-like look to the front of a bed and soften stone edging. Hardiness limits differ by source: Green Fuse calls the series hardy to zone 4, while Hoffie lists Pink for zones 5–10. Winter exposure and drainage can affect garden performance.
## Maintenance
The breeder recommends keeping the growing medium evenly moist during production. Use a freely draining planting site and trim only when needed to keep the groundcover within its space.
