Sandgem™ White Delosperma cooperi

Sandgem™ White is the white-flowered Delosperma cooperi selection in Danziger’s SANDGEM™ series. The breeder lists Sandgem White among its named colors and describes semi-trailing plants with bright flowers for landscapes and mixed containers. ThinkPlants gives the series a late-spring-to-fall flowering season and a mature range of 4–6 inches tall by 12–16 inches wide. ## Garden Use Set this low, spreading perennial in a sunny rock garden, border, or container where its bright flowers can be seen. Delosperma cooperi grows best in full sun and well-drained soil; Danziger recommends low to moderate fertility for the species. The series is described as heat tolerant and suitable for low-water garden programs. ## Flowering and Size The ThinkPlants listing describes Sandgem as semi-trailing, with late spring through fall flowering and part-sun to full-sun exposure. Its series size range is 4–6 inches tall and 12–16 inches wide. Danziger’s brochure separately lists Sandgem White and Yellow and describes the series’ bright flowers and landscape use. ## Maintenance Water while plants establish, then use light irrigation and allow the soil to drain between watering.
