Sweet™ Pink Magic Dianthus

Sweet™ Pink Magic is a pink-flowered Dianthus barbatus from the Sweet F1 cut-flower series. PanAmerican Seed identifies the exact selection as PAS1087308 and describes fragrant, long-lasting blooms on strong, straight stems. ## Garden Use The [PanAmerican Seed Pink Magic profile](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/022502007008168/dianthus-sweet-pink-magic/) gives the exact product name and code, lists early spring, spring, autumn, and winter flowering periods, and notes that the series can also be grown in the garden. Those season labels include production conditions; outdoor bloom timing varies with climate. ## Site and Care The upright plants are listed at about 18–36 inches tall and 10–12 inches wide. Provide sun or partial sun in a well-drained site. PanAmerican lists hardiness zones 6a–8b; use local winter conditions and exposure when choosing a planting location. ## Maintenance Cut stems for arrangements or remove faded flower clusters to keep the planting tidy. Avoid letting water stand around the roots.
