Constant Beauty® Crush Cherry is a compact dianthus in Green Fuse Botanicals’ Constant Beauty® series, selected to flower continuously even in warm summer conditions. Its double bicolored flowers and low mound of narrow blue-green foliage suit sunny borders and mixed containers, where the neat scale can fill the front of a planting.
### Flowers and foliage
This selection is described with soft pink petals and red markings, while Green Fuse lists it among the bicolored Crush selections. The foliage is semi-evergreen in mild conditions. Garden references report a height of about 6–10 inches and a spread near 10–12 inches; Green Fuse lists the series as hardy to Zone 4. [Green Fuse Botanicals’ Constant Beauty® Crush series page](https://green-fuse.com/new/dianthus-constant-beauty/green-fuse-dianthus-constant-beauty-crush-burgundy-005/) and [Greenland Garden Centre’s cultivar profile](https://shopgreenlandgarden.com/products/pinks-constant-beauty-crush-cherry) describe the series and this selection.
### Siting
Place it in sun in average, well-drained soil. Its compact size works at a border edge or in a container; leave space around the mound so the foliage and flowers remain visible.
## Maintenance
Remove faded flower stems to keep the planting tidy, and water during extended dry spells while plants establish. The cultivar reference describes drought tolerance only after establishment; do not let new plantings dry out.
