Coronet™ White Dianthus

Coronet™ White is the white-flowered selection of Dianthus chinensis in PanAmerican’s Coronet series. The breeder describes several large flowers on a compact, mounded plant and identifies cool weather as its best-performing season ([selection profile](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/022509158005863/dianthus-coronet-white/)). Its product listing gives sunny exposure, an 8–10 inch height and spread, 2–3 inch blooms, and flowering from early spring through autumn ([2026–2027 series catalog](https://catalog.panamseed.com/view/445948364/48/)). ## Garden Use Use this low selection in sunny garden beds, along a border edge, or in patio containers. White flowers offer a bright contrast with colored annuals and can be grouped for a simple, even seasonal display. ## Growing Conditions PanAmerican identifies the plant as Dianthus chinensis with a mounded, upright habit. The Coronet series performs best in cool weather. Its listing spans several flowering periods, while the exact start and duration depend on local conditions. ## Maintenance Remove fading flowers if you want to keep the planting neat. Monitor container soil during dry or windy weather and water according to local conditions and drainage.
