Dianthus 'Coconut Surprise' is a compact, mounded evergreen perennial reaching 10 inches in height. It features narrow, blue-green, grassy foliage that forms dense tussocks for year-round interest. In late spring, it produces masses of double, frilly white flowers with a burgundy eye and a rich spicy fragrance. Ideal for rock gardens, borders, and containers, it thrives in full sun and well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil. This drought-tolerant plant attracts pollinators and is deer resistant.
