About Cheddar Pink

This mat-forming perennial creates a dense, tufted mound of glaucous, blue-gray foliage that remains attractive throughout the growing season. In late spring, it produces a profusion of fragrant, rose-pink flowers on wiry stems that rise above the leaves. Ideal for rock gardens, border fronts, or cascading over stone walls, it thrives in full sun and well-drained, slightly alkaline soil. While it tolerates heat and drought, it requires excellent drainage to prevent crown rot during wet winters.
