About Darla® White Diascia

Darla® White is a white-flowered Diascia barberae in Syngenta’s Darla® series. The 2024–2026 Syngenta Annuals Catalog identifies the exact historic selection as product 70071557; the current Darla® White Improved product is a separate code and is not the identity used here. ## Flowering and placement The catalog describes the Darla® series as mounding, 12–14 inches high and wide, suitable for part sun to full sun, and flowering from early through late spring. It also recommends the series for cool-season containers and baskets. North Carolina Extension describes Twinspur as a long-flowering species for hanging baskets, borders, walkways, and rock gardens; species bloom may extend into fall where summer heat does not interrupt it. ## Growing conditions Grow in moist, organically rich, well-drained soil. The species tolerates full sun or partial shade and can be grown as an annual in colder climates. North Carolina Extension records bees and butterflies visiting Diascia barberae. Keep soil moist and provide good drainage.
