Flying Colors® Red is Syngenta Flowers’ red color form in its Flying Colors® series of Diascia barberae. The exact product page identifies it as a mounding annual with late-spring and summer flowers, 20–25 cm (about 8–10 inches) in garden height and 30–35 cm (about 12–14 inches) in width; it is bred for abundant, large, uniform flowers. See [Syngenta’s product profile, code 70066232](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/emea/product/flower/70066232).
## Display
Use this compact, mounding selection in a hanging basket or container, where its red flowers can spill into view without obscuring neighboring plants. Syngenta describes the series as highly floriferous, uniform, and useful for early production and garden performance, with flowers that last. The listed flowering period is late spring through summer.
## Siting
Syngenta lists sun or shade exposure and a recommended container size of 10.5 cm or larger. For general Diascia culture, the [Royal Horticultural Society’s profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/202629/diascia-little-dreamer-pender/details) recommends fertile, moist but well-drained soil and watering during dry periods. That RHS advice describes the genus and a different selection, so use it as general growing guidance rather than an exact cultivar trial result.
## Maintenance
The RHS profile says pruning is not required and recommends cutting old stems to ground level in spring. Check container moisture regularly in warm weather and protect plants from frost when needed.
