The breeder reports a mature height of about 9 inches and a 14-inch spread, with flower stems reaching about 14 inches. Use it along shaded paths, at an entry, or near the front of a woodland planting. ## Maintenance Water during dry spells so the soil stays evenly moist, but do not let the crown sit in water. Remove spent flower stems to tidy the clump, and cut back old foliage after it yellows. A light mulch can help hold summer moisture; keep mulch away from the crown.
