The Camelot Rose foxglove selection sends upright spikes of rose-pink bells through spring and summer. Syngenta lists it at 36–48 inches tall, 24–30 inches wide, and zones 4a–9a, while Wisconsin Extension notes that the Camelot series flowers in its first year from seed ([Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70008474); [University of Wisconsin Extension](https://hort.extension.wisc.edu/articles/common-foxglove-digitalis-purpurea/)).
## Landscape Use
Place the tall stems behind lower perennials or against a hedge, where the flower spires add vertical structure. Foxglove also suits mass plantings and cut-flower beds. Bees, especially bumblebees, and hummingbirds visit the tubular blooms. Camelot is an F1 hybrid series, so seedlings from saved seed will not reliably reproduce this selection.
## Growing Conditions
Syngenta lists full sun and flowering from mid-spring through summer. The species also grows in light shade and prefers moisture-retentive, well-drained soil rich in organic matter; avoid sites that become very dry or waterlogged. Use the listed dimensions as a guide for spacing and backdrop placement.
## Safety
All parts are toxic if eaten, and leaf contact can irritate sensitive skin. Keep plants away from children and pets that may chew them, and wear gloves when handling foliage.
## Maintenance
Remove spent spikes after flowering to limit self-sown seedlings; leave selected stems only where seedlings are wanted. Tall stems may need staking in exposed sites. Maintain even soil moisture during active growth.
