African daisy

Dimorphotheca sinuata, commonly known as the Cape Marigold, is a resilient annual or short-lived perennial native to South Africa. It features a bushy, upright to sprawling growth habit with slender, light green, toothed leaves. The plant is celebrated for its large, daisy-like flowers in brilliant shades of orange and yellow that open in full sun and close at night. Ideal for rock gardens, borders, and xeriscaping, it thrives in sandy, well-drained soil and is exceptionally drought-tolerant.
