Create design onlineAbout Dolce® Cherry Truffles Coral Bells
Dolce® 'Cherry Truffles' is a compact coral bells selected for vivid, ruffled foliage that shifts from bright red to rich mahogany as summer progresses. Light pink flower stems rise above the low mound, adding a softer accent while the leaves continue to carry the display.
## Garden use
Use this Heuchera hybrid along a border edge, in a container, or in groups where its saturated foliage can contrast with silver, chartreuse, or green plants. Its mature foliage is about 8–10 inches tall and spreads 26–30 inches; flowering stems reach higher. The breeder lists it for zones 4–9 and notes that bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers ([Proven Winners](https://api.provenwinners.com/plants/heuchera/dolce-cherry-truffles-coral-bells-heuchera-hybrid)).
## Growing conditions
Place it in part shade for dependable foliage color, though the breeder also lists sun and shade exposure. Grow in humus-rich, well-drained soil and provide average moisture, especially while plants establish. The source lists acidic to neutral soil and mid-summer bloom.
## Maintenance
In early spring, remove winter-worn leaves and trim back damaged foliage. Water during prolonged dry spells, and keep the crown at soil level with good drainage.
