Leonardo™ Compact Yellow Doronicum

Leonardo™ Compact Yellow is a yellow-flowered Doronicum orientale selected for compact, uniform growth and an early spring display. Its daisy-like yellow blooms rise above grey-green leaves; the named Leonardo Compact form is a low, slowly spreading perennial. ## Garden use Place it near the front of a spring border, where the low mound and flowers are easy to see. Syngenta describes an upright habit and early spring flowering; the RHS profile for Leonardo Compact lists late spring, so expect the flowering window to shift with local conditions. Keep moisture even through spring without leaving the crown waterlogged. Divide crowded clumps in spring and remove faded flower stems to prolong the display.
