About Little Leo™ Leopard's Bane

Little Leo™ is the named Little Leo form of Doronicum orientale, a compact, slowly spreading perennial with bushy growth and bright yellow flowers arranged in a double row of petals. The RHS describes flowers in mid- to late spring and a mature height of about 30 cm. ## Garden use Set it at the front of a spring border or garden edge, leaving space for the clump to widen gradually. Its golden daisies are especially visible in partial shade, and the compact habit also suits small-scale plantings. Divide in early autumn or start seed in containers in spring. Deadhead faded flowers to encourage a second flush, and avoid leaving the soil waterlogged.
