Dragon Tree

Dracaena draco is a slow-growing evergreen tree with a sculptural crown of sword-shaped leaves in terminal rosettes. In suitable climates, established dragon trees tolerate drought and need little supplementary water. Mature plants may develop greenish-white flower panicles followed by orange-red fruit; flowering is associated with mature specimens. ## Maintenance Allow the tree room for its eventual crown and avoid overwatering in poorly drained ground. It grows slowly, so remove only damaged or dead foliage and take care not to injure the trunk or growing crown.
