Create design onlineAbout Echeveria pulvinata Devotion® Echeveria
Devotion® is a Syngenta-branded Echeveria pulvinata selected for its rosette form and deep red color. Its velvety leaves develop burgundy tips, which the grower says become more pronounced in high light and cool nights.
## Garden use
Syngenta describes Devotion® as a spreading plant suited to indoor pots and succulent programs, and says it can be used outdoors in temperate to warm climates, including rock gardens. Its red foliage and low rosette give it a clear role in a container or a sheltered succulent planting.
## Light, soil, and water
Provide bright light to maintain the rich leaf color. Like other echeverias, it needs a sharply draining growing medium and a pot that lets excess water escape. Let the mix approach dryness before watering, then reduce watering during cool winter conditions. Avoid leaving the plant in standing water.
## Maintenance
Keep the rosette open to good air movement and remove dry leaves at the base as needed. Protect it from frost, and use it outdoors only where temperatures remain suitable for a tender succulent.
