About pearls™ Echeveria Moon Pearl Echeveria

Moon Pearl is listed as Echeveria lilacina ‘Ovpearls02’, a named trade selection in the Crassulaceae family. Its fleshy evergreen leaves form a rosette, while mature Echeverias send up flower stems above the foliage. Water modestly when the compost begins to dry, never leave the pot standing in water, and reduce irrigation during the cooler winter rest. Keep the plant above 10°C (50°F), and move it indoors before the first frost. [RHS Echeveria guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/echeveria) ## Growth and display Echeverias form compact rosettes of colorful, fleshy leaves and produce upright racemes or panicles of urn-shaped flowers. They work well as houseplants and in summer containers, borders, and hanging baskets; outdoors they need a frost-free season. Provide enough light to retain a sturdy rosette and allow air movement around the leaves. Repot into fresh cactus compost when the rosette outgrows its container, and keep the growing medium drier in winter.
