DELIGHTFUL™ Lace Coneflower

DELIGHTFUL™ Lace is a compact coneflower with unusual fluted, tubular white petals that form a star-shaped halo around the cone. Its sweet scent and neat habit suit the front of a mixed border or a decorative pot. ## Size and siting The breeder lists a 12-inch plant height, 16-inch spread, and 14-inch flowering height, with USDA Zones 4–9. Grow it in full sun and average, well-drained soil. [Terra Nova Nurseries](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/echinacea-delightful-lace/) records these dimensions, green foliage, white flowers, and the June–October bloom season. ## Bloom and garden use Flowers continue from early summer into fall. The tubular petals make this selection visually distinct from standard daisy-shaped coneflowers, while its tidy form works along a border edge, in mixed beds, and in containers. Terra Nova lists it as fragrant and notes pollinator and hummingbird interest. ## Maintenance Water as needed in well-drained garden soil, allowing the root area to dry moderately between waterings. Remove spent stems for a tidier appearance, or leave some flowers to mature into seed heads at the end of the season.
