Its orange and pink bloom colors and green foliage make the flowers the main seasonal feature. The source lists USDA zones 4–9, average garden soil and water, an upright habit, and fast growth. ## Garden uses Use it near the front or middle of a sunny perennial border, in a mixed bed, or in a small group where repeated blooms can be seen. Its stems also suit cutting. Terra Nova lists fragrance, deer resistance, hummingbird and pollinator attraction, and low water use; established plants still benefit from watering during extended dry spells and in their first season. ## Maintenance Plant in well-drained soil in full sun.
