PUFF™ Vanilla Coneflower

PUFF® ‘Vanilla’ is a low, mounding double coneflower with white ray florets around light-yellow cones. Its pale double flowers are also suited to cutting, while the compact mound keeps the display within a manageable footprint. ## Growing Conditions The breeder recommends USDA zones 4–9 and full sun. It lists average garden water and average soil, with coarse or slightly mineral soil preferred, and notes that good drainage is important for Echinacea. ## Maintenance Water while establishing, then adapt to rainfall and soil conditions. Plant the crown at soil level and avoid waterlogged sites. Remove spent stems if a tidy appearance is desired; retaining a few can keep late-season structure in the bed.
