Prairie Splendor™ Compact Dark Rose Coneflower

Prairie Splendor™ Compact Dark Rose is an Echinacea purpurea selection in Syngenta’s compact series. The [official product profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70035573) identifies this exact selection, its upright habit, pink-to-rose flowers, and pollinator-friendly designation. ## Flowers and size Syngenta lists flowering in mid-spring, late spring, and summer. The upright plants reach about 14–16 inches tall and 6–8 inches wide, with hardiness listed for USDA zones 3a–9a. Use these dimensions to position it toward the front or middle of a sunny perennial bed, or where a narrow upright accent is useful. ## Siting Provide full sun. The cultivar belongs to the Prairie Splendor™ Compact series, but retain the full Dark Rose selection name when sourcing or labeling plants; color descriptions for related selections should not be substituted for this product’s exact identity. Its listed pollinator-friendly status makes it a useful flowering choice where pollinator activity is welcome. ## Maintenance Allow room for the stated mature width and remove spent stems when a tidier appearance is desired. The [RHS Prairie Splendor profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/249928/echinacea-purpurea-prairie-splendor-prairie-splendor-series/details) recommends cutting back stems as flowers fade; follow local perennial-care timing for the growing region.
