SUNDIAL™ Zenith Coneflower

SUNDIAL™ ‘Zenith’ is a compact Echinacea with cream-colored ray petals around green eyes and primrose-yellow cones that mature toward ivory. Its short, branching form carries large anemone-type blooms from early summer into fall, adding a pale, layered color accent to sunny borders and containers. [Terra Nova Nurseries](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/echinacea-sundial-zenith/) identifies the exact selection; its [current Echinacea catalog](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/other/catalogs/digital/2026-2027/files/basic-html/page173.html) lists zones 4–9, a mounding habit, 14-inch foliage height, 18-inch spread, and a 16-inch flowering height. ## Form and Placement The flowers have semi-quilled ray petals around a green eye and a yellow cone that fades to ivory. The low, freely branching plant is useful near paths, at the front of a perennial bed, or in a container where the unusual flower form can be seen close up. Give it full sun and room for an 18-inch spread. ## Maintenance Give the plant full sun and allow the soil to dry moderately between waterings. Avoid prolonged saturation, following the breeder’s guidance for this selection.
