SunSeekers™ Golden Sun Coneflower

SunSeekers™ Golden Sun is a compact Echinacea with layers of golden-yellow petals surrounding orange cones. Monrovia lists the selection at 18–24 inches tall and 16 inches wide in zones 4–9; the RHS identifies its cultivar denomination as ‘Ifecssgold’, while Willoway reports a broader mature spread for the same code. [Monrovia’s profile](https://www.monrovia.com/sunseekerstm-golden-sun-coneflower.html), the [RHS plant record](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/521504/echinacea-sunseekers-golden-sun-ifecssgold-sunseekers-series/details), and [Willoway’s listing](https://www.willowaynurseries.com/products/echinacea-sunseekers-ifecssgold-golden?variant=50243845259621) agree on the selection’s golden flowers, full-sun placement, and zones 4–9. ## Form and Placement The clump-forming plants work in sunny borders and containers, and the flowers can be cut for arrangements. Early-summer-through-fall bloom and pollinator visits extend its value beyond the first flush of color. ## Maintenance Use full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Monrovia recommends regular water during establishment, then watering when the topsoil is dry. Remove spent blooms to encourage rebloom, and cut plants back in spring.
