About SunSeekers™ Pumpkin Pie Coneflower

SunSeekers® Pumpkin Pie is a compact coneflower with orange-peach petals around a green cone. Upright stems carry fragrant flowers from early summer into early fall, giving a sunny border or mixed container a warm, extended display. ## Site and season The Royal Horticultural Society describes a hardy, deciduous clump with green leaves and orange anemone-like flowers, and recommends full sun and well-drained soil. Gertens gives a mature height range of 13–24 inches and spread of 12–24 inches; its product details list an 18-inch plant height and flowers to about 24 inches. Allow for local growing conditions. ## Garden use Use it in a border, group planting, or mixed container. Gertens also lists the stems as suitable for cutting. The RHS record identifies the selection by the code ‘Ifecsspp’ and places it in the SunSeekers Series. ## Maintenance Plant in full sun and soil that drains well. Remove spent blooms to keep the display tidy and support continued flowering.
