About Echinacea 'Tiki Torch'

Echinacea 'Tiki Torch' brings vivid orange flowers to sunny perennial borders from midsummer into fall. Its upright stems reach about 36 inches when flowering, while the plant itself is listed at 28 inches tall and 26 inches wide. The flowers attract pollinators and hummingbirds, have a light fragrance, and work well as cut flowers. The plant is hardy in USDA Zones 4–9 and prefers full sun. ## Garden Use Use this compact, upright coneflower in a sunny border or cutting garden. Its strong stems carry large orange blooms above green foliage, adding warm color through the main summer and fall display. Allowing some flower heads to remain after bloom can add seedhead texture. ## Growing Conditions Provide full sun and average, well-drained garden soil. The breeder describes the plant as low-water-use once established; water during establishment and extended dry periods. ## Maintenance Remove spent flowers to encourage additional bloom, or leave selected seedheads for seasonal interest. Divide established clumps when they become crowded.
