Create design onlineAbout Kismet® Yellow Coneflower
Kismet® Yellow Coneflower brings deep yellow blooms to sunny perennial plantings from summer into fall, often continuing until frost. Monrovia lists this compact selection at about 18 inches tall and 24 inches wide, with green foliage and a full-sun preference. It is hardy in USDA Zones 4–9 and works in borders, containers, and cutting gardens. The flowers attract pollinators, and established plants tolerate mild drought.
## Garden Use
Repeat the yellow flowers through a sunny border or combine them with other warm-season perennials. Its compact size also suits patio containers and makes the blooms accessible for cutting.
## Growing Conditions
Provide full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Water during establishment; established plants tolerate mild drought and benefit from good drainage.
## Maintenance
Remove faded flowers to encourage continued bloom. Divide established clumps when crowded and leave selected seedheads if winter structure is desired.
