About Cebu Blue Pothos

Cebu Blue is a climbing selection of *Epipremnum pinnatum* grown for juvenile leaves with a cool blue-green sheen. Its stems trail from a basket or climb a support, where mature leaves become larger and more deeply divided. ## Growing Conditions Give the vine bright, indirect light and warm conditions away from cold drafts. Use an organic-rich, well-drained mix and keep it evenly moist without leaving roots waterlogged. Indoors, stems may extend several feet; a pole or hanging basket gives them room to grow. ## Landscape Use This tropical vine is best treated as a houseplant or seasonal container plant outside its warm-climate range. Trailing leaves generally stay juvenile, while climbing support encourages mature, fenestrated foliage. Its long stems suit vertical displays and hanging arrangements. ## Maintenance Prune in spring or early summer to manage length and encourage branching. Repot when roots fill the container, often every two to three years, and take stem cuttings to propagate. Keep it out of reach of children and pets because it can be harmful if eaten. See [NC State Extension's Cebu Blue profile](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/epipremnum-pinnatum/common-name/cebu-blue/) for care details.
