Super Bowl™ Compact Purple Erysimum

Super Bowl™ Compact Purple is the purple color selection in Syngenta's Super Bowl™ wallflower series, identified by product code 70069258. The breeder lists Compact Purple alongside Super Bowl Mauve and describes the series as upright, suited to part sun or full sun, flowering in late spring and summer, and improved for extended flowering through reduced seed setting. [Syngenta Flowers](). ## Garden Profile The series is marketed for containers and landscape plantings, with the Super Bowl habit described as more robust than Erysistible. Use this named purple selection where its upright flower stems and concentrated color can be appreciated, such as a sunny mixed border or a substantial patio pot. Flowering time and mature dimensions can vary with climate and growing conditions. ## Siting and Water Provide part sun to full sun and soil or potting mix that drains freely. Syngenta's culture guidance for Super Bowl allows the growing medium to dry between irrigations; water deeply enough to establish new plants, then avoid keeping the root zone continually wet. ## Maintenance Remove faded stems to keep the planting neat and encourage a fresh appearance. The breeder notes reduced seed setting as a series trait that supports longer flowering. No cold treatment is required for flowering in the first year. [Super Bowl growing information]()
