Citrona® Yellow Erysimum

Citrona® Yellow is a compact wallflower selection sold by Ball Seed under the code PAS415016. Its mounded, upright plants carry fragrant yellow flowers in early spring and spring, with another display in autumn, making the selection useful for bright seasonal color in beds and containers. [Ball Seed’s cultivar record](https://info.ballseed.com/WEBTRACKPLANTINFO.ASPX?PHID=025604527006060&env=P) identifies the botanical name as *Erysimum* species and lists the PAS415016 code. ## Size and Siting Allow about 10–12 inches of height and spread, with roughly 10–14 inches between plants. Ball Seed lists full sun and describes the habit as mounded and upright. The compact scale works along a path edge, at the front of a mixed border, or in a seasonal pot. ## Growing Conditions The grower record gives medium water and a 30°F hardiness threshold. That temperature is not a USDA zone rating, so use local frost conditions when planning placement. Ball Seed also lists monthly fertilizing and notes that the crop does not need vernalization. ## Maintenance Keep moisture moderate and even during active growth, and remove spent flower stems when a tidier display is wanted. The source characterizes this selection as low maintenance and fragrant, with flowers that attract bees and butterflies.
