California Poppy

Eschscholzia californica forms low, mounding clumps of delicate, feathery blue-green foliage that provides a soft texture to the garden. Reaching up to 15 inches in height, this resilient species produces iconic cup-shaped flowers in brilliant shades of orange and yellow. Ideal for rock gardens, meadows, or xeriscaping, it thrives in full sun and poor, well-drained soils.
