‘Odom’, sold as Little Moses®, is a compact, slow-growing winged euonymus with a dense, rounded mound. Its green leaves turn crimson in fall and often remain later than those of the species; the corky stems add winter texture.
## Cultivar and size
The [University of Connecticut Plant Database](https://plantdatabase.uconn.edu/detail.php?pid=167) describes ‘Odom’ as a 30–36 inch selection with brilliant red fall color. [Bailey Nurseries](https://shop.baileynurseries.com/Product/Detail/6721?availabilityDate=2023-04-16) lists a mature height and spread of 2–3 feet and USDA zones 4–8. The plant patent records the original 12-year-old specimen at 30 inches tall and 4 feet wide, while stating that mature size was not yet known. Allow some extra room for spread because published measurements differ.
## Siting
Full sun to part shade supports growth, with stronger light helping fall color. Use it as a small accent or grouped border shrub; its compact habit can also suit a low hedge. Winged euonymus has naturalized in some regions, and UConn notes an invasive tendency in Connecticut, so check local guidance before planting.
## Maintenance
The dense form needs little routine shaping. If a branch outgrows its space, prune selectively to retain the rounded outline.
