Paloma Blanca is a compact, upright evergreen Japanese euonymus grown for its pale spring flush against mature green leaves. It suits low borders, clipped informal hedges, containers, and small foundation plantings where year-round foliage is useful.
## Seasonal Interest
New growth opens cream to nearly white and gradually turns dark green, creating a bright two-tone effect in spring. The flowers are inconspicuous; foliage is the main ornamental feature.
## Siting
Plant in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Monrovia lists the selection at about 2 feet tall and wide and in USDA Zones 6–9; the Royal Horticultural Society gives a broader mature range of 0.5–1 meter. Leave room for the plant to develop, and use the smaller estimate as a compact garden reference rather than a guarantee. Water regularly while it establishes, then adjust to soil and weather.
## Maintenance
Shape or lightly prune in spring after the new flush, and remove damaged or reverted shoots as needed. Avoid persistently waterlogged soil.
