About Medusa's head

Euphorbia caput-medusae is a fascinating South African succulent known for its unique growth habit. It features a thick, central caudex from which numerous gray-green, snake-like branches radiate outward, mimicking the hair of the mythical Medusa. These bumpy-textured stems produce small, deciduous leaves at their tips and clusters of white flowers in spring. Ideal for rock gardens, xeriscaping, or containers, it thrives in well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade.
