About Royal spurge

Euphorbia royleana is an erect, deciduous, columnar shrub or small tree native to the Himalayas. It features whorled, succulent, segmented branches with five to seven ribs and short prickles. Large, fleshy leaves appear at the branch tips during the moist season but drop during hot or cold periods. Small greenish-yellow flowers bloom in clusters in the spring. This drought-tolerant plant is ideal for xeric gardens or as a living hedge. Its architectural form adds a dramatic, cactus-like silhouette to any landscape.
