About Pencil tree

Euphorbia tirucalli, commonly known as the pencil tree, is a unique succulent shrub or small tree characterized by its dense, brush-like masses of smooth, green, pencil-thick branches. Native to semi-arid tropical regions of Africa and Madagascar, it features tiny, inconspicuous leaves that drop early, leaving the striking skeletal stems to perform photosynthesis. It is highly drought-tolerant and thrives in full sun, making it an excellent choice for xeriscaping or as a dramatic indoor accent. Note that its milky sap is toxic and caustic, requiring careful handling.
