White Manaus Spurge

White Manaus is a vigorous ornamental spurge valued for a cloud of small, pure white blooms above green foliage. This named selection can reach about 2 feet tall, creating a light, airy accent in seasonal plantings. [University of Wisconsin Horticulture](https://hort.extension.wisc.edu/articles/euphorbia-diamond-frost/) identifies ‘White Manaus’ among white-flowered bedding euphorbias and reports its approximate height. ## Garden Use Use it to brighten a sunny or lightly shaded border, edge, or container planting, where the white bloom clusters can soften neighboring foliage. Combine it with larger-leaved plants for contrast or repeat it along a walkway for a soft, bright mass. Allow open space around its branching stems so nearby plants do not hide the flowers. ## Maintenance Wear gloves when shaping or handling cut stems because euphorbia sap can irritate sensitive skin. Remove damaged growth as needed and keep containers draining freely. Where winters bring frost, use local guidance to decide whether this selection can overwinter outdoors or should be treated as seasonal bedding.
