Festina ColorGrass® Festuca

Festina is a ColorGrass® selection of Festuca, valued for dense blue-green tufts and small upright brown plumes. It adds compact, cool-toned texture to sunny borders, containers, and grouped plantings. ## Size and seasonal interest PanAmerican Seed lists a height of 12–18 inches, a spread of 10–15 inches, and hardiness from USDA zones 4a to 10b. Plumes appear from summer into autumn, and foliage stays blue-green through the display. Its upright habit and compact width suit edging or small groups. ## Maintenance Use the breeder’s spacing as a guide to reduce crowding and allow air around the clumps. Local winter wetness and summer heat still affect performance.
