Lunar® Harvest Moon - Gaillardia aristata

Lunar® 'Harvest Moon' is a compact blanket flower in Green Fuse Botanicals' [Lunar series](https://green-fuse.com/new/gaillardia-grandiflora-lunar/), with yellow daisy-like flowers and red centers. Its well-branched form carries conspicuous blooms through the warm season, adding a bright, harvest-toned accent to sunny plantings. ## Garden Use Use it near the front of a mixed border, in a container, or in a small group where the two-tone flowers can be seen up close. The flowers also suit cutting and attract butterflies, as noted by [New Garden Plants](https://www.newgardenplants.com/gaillardia-lunar-harvest-moon). Retail listings describe a compact plant about 10–12 inches tall and wide. ## Growing Conditions Choose a sunny position with well-drained soil; this selection is described for hot, dry gardens and benefits from drainage rather than winter-wet ground. Its compact size works well at a bed edge or in a patio pot. ## Maintenance Remove faded flowers to keep the display tidy and support further flowering. Water during establishment, then avoid persistently wet soil around the crown.
