Sunrita® Golden Yellow Gaillardia

Sunrita® Golden Yellow is a mounding blanket flower with yellow blooms and a yellow center. It flowers across spring, summer, and fall, adding a bright, long-running display to sunny gardens and containers. ## Site and season Grow it in full sun and well-drained soil. Syngenta Flowers lists this selection at 14–18 inches tall and wide, with hardiness from zones 4a–9a, and describes the Sunrita® series as heat-loving and drought tolerant. The [Golden Yellow product profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70051444) identifies the selection by its 70051444 code. [University of Wisconsin–Madison Extension](https://hort.extension.wisc.edu/articles/blanket-flower-gaillardia-spp/) confirms its pure yellow flowers and describes the series as compact, pollinator friendly, and hardy to zone 4a. ## Garden use The rounded habit works in sunny perennial borders and containers. Its yellow flowers pair easily with blue, purple, or other warm-toned blooms, while the extended flowering season keeps color in the garden through much of the growing season. ## Maintenance Water regularly while the plant establishes, then water during prolonged dry weather. Avoid poorly drained soil. Remove faded flowers when you want a neater appearance or additional blooms.
