About Peach Blanket Flower

MESA™ ‘Peach’ is a compact blanket flower in the seed-raised MESA series, with yellow petals and warm orange tones near the flower center. It flowers in the first year from seed and makes a bright, upright accent for sunny beds and containers. ## Garden Use Plants are about 14–16 inches tall and 20–22 inches wide, with a controlled, well-branched form. Use it at the front of a mixed border or repeat it in groups to carry color through summer and fall. The peach-and-yellow palette blends easily with ornamental grasses and other drought-tolerant perennials. ## Growing Conditions Choose full sun and well-drained soil. The breeder lists MESA ‘Peach’ for USDA zones 5a–10b and notes that established plants tolerate dry conditions. Good drainage is especially important in winter, when persistently wet soil can reduce perennial survival. ## Maintenance Deadhead spent blooms to keep the planting neat and encourage further flowers. Water while new plants establish, then reduce supplemental watering as roots settle in.
