GAUDI™ Red is the GAUDI series selection ‘Florgaured’, a compact mound with red to deep rose-pink flowers and foliage that shifts from green to red or purple in cool weather. The flowers open from June through October, and foliage may turn red or purple in cool weather. Cavano’s lists USDA zones 5–8 and describes the plant as tolerant of heat and drought once established. Its compact mound fits narrow borders and small containers. ## Maintenance Water regularly during establishment, then reduce watering as the roots settle in. Trim individual untidy or spent stems to keep the mound neat and remove old growth in spring. Avoid frequent relocation of established plants.
