Sparkle White is a compact, branching gaura with single white flowers that show a soft pink blush. Its slender stems create an airy display in sunny perennial borders and containers.
## Garden Use
This cultivar flowers earlier and more uniformly than older seed strains, with flowering reported from late spring through autumn. Allow about 12–24 inches of height and 12–20 inches of spread; sources report different mature dimensions, so use these ranges as a practical guide rather than a fixed measurement. The fine stems pair well with sturdier plants and leave open space around neighboring foliage.
## Growing Conditions
Plant in full sun or light afternoon shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly while plants establish, then reduce irrigation as the roots settle in; PanAmerican Seed describes Sparkle White as drought tolerant. It is listed for USDA Zones 5b–9a.
## Maintenance
RHS guidance for gaura recommends no routine pruning. Remove spent stems if you want to tidy the clump, and divide in spring when propagation is needed.
