Colorado Gold® African Daisy

Colorado Gold® is the Plant Select® selection Gazania linearis 'P004S', a low perennial with glossy, strap-shaped leaves and shiny yellow daisies. Plant Select lists it at 4–6 inches tall by 10–12 inches wide and reports flowers from April to hard frost. ## Site and Season Place this sun- to part-sun plant in a rock garden, dry border edge, planter, or mass planting. It performs in ordinary garden soil and in unamended dry soils after establishment; loam or sandy soil with good drainage suits its low-water needs. ## Maintenance Trim dead stems in spring. Deadhead faded flowers if you want to limit self-seeding; Plant Select notes that the plant reseeds readily.
